SSInk: Fabulous Flowers

Hello everyone!  Over at SSInkspiration we are sharing some Fabulous Flowers ideas.  My card features one flower, with fancy gold leaves.  Today I'm sharing a thank you card I made with the new Stampin' Blends Markers.

For this card, I knew I wanted to start with the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper.  It is one of the select packs of dsp that are on sale this month, Buy 3, Get 1 free.

I also wanted to share another Stampin' Blends project, because I am in love with these markers.  I ordered the entire set, and have used them all, many times already.  Stampin' Up! is giving away one complete set of markers, and then 100 people will get a combo pack of their choice.  You can enter the giveaway by clicking on the Stampin' Blends picture below.

For my card, I used the Color Me Happy stamp set.  This set will be released when the Stampin' Blends are released, and will only be available while supplies lasts.  This stamp set features many fun images, made specifically to be colored in.  There will also be a coordinating card kit, that I'll share more about in the next few days.  For my flower, I wanted a color that is not offered in the blends, so I combined a few colors to get what I wanted.  I used Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, and Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends to get a color that is pretty close to Berry Burst.  I really love the flower in this stamp set.  It reminds me of a single flower stamp we used to carry a few years ago, only this one is smaller and more manageable.

Be sure to head over to the Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration blog to see what other fun florals the design team is sharing!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

12 Weeks of Christmas - #10

Hello everyone!  I can't believe there are only 10 weeks left until Christmas.  I know I say that every week.  But, it really does surprise me each and every week.  Today, I am sharing a gift set of 3x3 cards that I made.

Here is my project:

My cards all fit inside of this decrorated pizza box.  You can find these on page 44 of the holiday catalog.  You get 8 boxes in a pack, for only $6 US.  They are food safe, and would be great for many different kinds of treats.  For my project, I put five 3x3 cards, with matching envelopes inside.

Here are my cards:

My gift set features the Merry Mistletoe stamp set, and coordinating Be Merry Designer Series Paper.  (This is one of the packs that are on sale right now!)  I wanted to use all of the stamps in the set, but fell a little short and did not use one of the tree images.  All of the projects feature some gold embossing.  I love gold on christmas projects.  Well, who am I kidding, I love all things metallic on all projects.  Ha ha ha!  I covered the flaps of the 3x3 envelopes with the paper that matched each card.  By the way - did you know that we sell 3x3 envelopes again?!?!!!  So happy to see them back!  They are on page 44 of the holiday catalog.  You get 40 in a pack, for $9 US.

Have you started working on any Christmas projects yet?

Christmas Sweaters & a big announcement

Hello everyone!  I hope your week is going well.  I have an exciting announcement to make today.  Stampin' Up! has a new product coming out, very soon!  Let me introduce to you....

Stampin' Blends are premium alcohol markers.  There will be 12 colors released, with both a light and a dark shade of each color.  In addition to those 24 markers, there is also an Ivory, Bronze, and Color Lifter available.  All 27 markers will be available on November 1st.

For today's project, I decided to do something showcasing the markers.
Here is my card:

I used the Christmas Sweaters stamp set, and stamped ramdom sweaters all over my Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad.  This cardstock, and this ink are the recommended go to's for the Stampin' Blends.  Once I was done stamping, I started coloring.  For this project I used the Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, Bronze and Ivory markers.  You can see a little more about the markers in the video below.

I hope you are as excited about the new markers as I am!  For those of you on my email list, be on the lookout in the next couple days for a Stampin' Blends special.

Thanks for stopping by!
